Hi,
I started playing Piano when I was 9 years old and was fortunate to experiment different types of music.
I learned classical music through the conservatory, where I explored the amazing music of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Debussy, Arvo Part, Schubert, among others. I had a really great teacher that prioritized expression and that clicked with me.
At the same time I started to play on evangelical churches, where the ear training is tested each time someone comes to sing (they usually modulate keys xD). Great way to train the ear.
In my teen years I started dabbling on Rock music with friends and jammed all the way until bar/wedding gigs where we played a ton of covers from different artists.
After college I got the opportunity to work in a fancy restaurant 'A Pastorinha' for almost 4 years, where my cocktail music/jazz/ bossa nova/ whatever the customers wanted to ear developed.
At the same time, with the project Kamaraum com Beatata (aka Rodízio 3000) I started to experiment with synthetizer sounds and build from there.
I like to play different types of music, and take a bit from every genre and blend the different techniques into a music salad.
